Atlanta, Georgia, January
1, 2000 - Music
Notes, Inc. launches membership accounts program today. "Our
goal is to bring the language of music to every elementary
school that shares our commitment to teach all children
how to read music. Our unique membership program makes
this possible," announced Jess Buice, founder of
Music Notes, Inc. and developer of "Music You Can Read ®."
Music Notes, Inc. publishes "Music
You Can Read ®," today, the first
elementary music curriculum published specifically for
Internet
access. Group memberships brings every school, with an
Internet connection, the materials needed to teach all
children to read music k-8. Individual accounts give
home schooled children the same access.
During the previous five
months more than 4,000 files were reformatted into .pdf
files, uploaded onto the new store server, and now can
be access by anyone around the world wishing to teach someone
the language of music. The easy access to .pdf reader applications
and the high quality delivered by these applications, makes
.pdf the best format to meet the company's high quality
standards. Power point users will enjoy the ability to
take technology to a higher level during instruction. For
most, it will be easy access to hundreds of materials you
can print and use in minutes.
Music Notes, Inc. has evolved
very quickly. Initially offering the traditional hardcopy
grade-level song book, today there is no printing, no packaging,
and no shipping, replaced by unlimited access to files
the member can print as needed. When asked which feature
would teacher's enjoy most, Buice answered, "the two
ideas; going on the Internet to choose the materials best
suited to meet curriculum objectives, and, not having to
pay for materials the teacher will never use, dovetail
nicely."
School districts with reduced
capitol allocated to music programs and where the traditional
hardcopy materials would put the materials out of budget
consideration, will easily afford the membership program. "We
want every school using "Music
You Can Read." As more accounts are opened, and
expenses are kept within projections, we expect the membership
fee to remain easily affordable, especially in the areas
most effected by reduced arts funding. Every child can
learn to read music for as little as five cents per year!
Today's rapidly changing technological innovations do not
increase the cost of music education in schools, it reduces
the cost by as much as eighty percent! When these savings
are used to buy instruments, the savings go directly back
to meeting the needs of the students."
Music Notes, Inc. is once
again showing the value in music education. They have developed
the materials needed to meet the highest standards in teaching
children to read music, and are now making these materials
as easy as "point and click."
Established
in 1996 to bring the "language of music" to all
children, Music Notes, Inc. publishes "Music You Can
Read" a supplemental curriculum teaching all children
to read music during their primary and elementary school
years. "Music You Can Read" is unique in offering
song selections formatted as beats, rhythm, solfeggio,
pitch numbers, letter names, music only, and text. Music
Notes, Inc. maintains the Internet sites, http://musicnotes.net and http://musicyoucanread.com, providing teachers, parents,
administrators, universities, and all persons interested
in teaching music, access to "Music You Can Read ®." |
